360 trumps PS3 again in Japanese Charts

The latest numbers from Famitsu have revealed that Xbox 360 has outsold Sony's Playstation 3 yet again in Japan.

The Xbox 360 sold 6000 units in the last week, while the PS3 sold 4800.

Meanwhile the last generation PS2 beat out both the high def consoles, scoring 7800 sales.

Nintendo's pair take up the most space at the top of the chart, with 25,000 sales for the Wii and 34,000 for the DS.

The real winner this week is Sony's PSP, managing to shift a whopping 156,000 units. This huge figure was caused by the release of the PSP-3000 console, a new hardware model with an updated screen. But the DSi is coming...
