Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak pulls back the curtain on a lot of new armor sets with the arrival of Master Rank. That means a lot of new armor sets from the expansion’s new monsters and new sub-species. Armor sets from older monsters receive a fresh updated look and enhanced stats.

On this page, you will find all the Master Rank Male Armor Sets in Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak. You will also get to see what Equipment Skills you will receive if you equipped the full armor set. Keep in mind that a small handful of armor sets contain less than the standard 5 pieces of armor. Some pieces of armor are exclusive to males, as well.

Unlocking armor sets in Sunbreak usually involves one of the following methods

Obtaining parts of the monster for their specific armor set, usually through slaying or capturing them in a hunt.
Completing a Side Quest from a NPC, usually requesting a player to capture a specific monster.
Completing Follower Quests.
Having your Palico and/or Palamute Buddies obtain certain materials in Meowcenaries.
Finishing Arena Quests.

Remember that you can craft most of the pieces in these armor sets as Layered Armor instead, which simply lets you don their appearance, which frees your character to equip armor pieces that contain skills that benefit them in combat.
