Monolith Soft is creating an all new title for the Wii U

Monolith Soft, the studio behind games like Xenosaga and Xenoblade are readying an all new title for Nintendo's latest platform - the Wii U.

Although not revealed, the production was confirmed during Nintendo Direct by President Satoru Iwata. The game is said to be completely new and not tied to any existing franchise.
