Natural Doctrine gets more info and a trailer
Revealed waaaaaaaay back on September 9th, developer Kadokawa Games (Demon Gaze) announced that they were working on a new turn-based "Fantasy Simulation" RPG for the Playstation 3, Playstation 4, and the Playstation Vita titled Natural Doctrine. Today they have posted its first official trailer and also recently shared some more information about the game.
The story takes place in the city of Feste, a place surrounded by monsters, our hero Jeff (yep) works as an officer for a group called the Mine Development Escort Brigade along with Vasilisa and Anca, who is the leader of the gang. Their wish is to protect the city and eradicate the threat that lays at the border.
The game will be directed by Atsushi Ii who also served as director for the Patapon series. Atsushi Ikarya of Ufotable (Fate/Zero, The Devil is a Part-Timer) will be handling the character designs, and the ending song will be "The Court of the Crimson King" by the legendary band King Crimson. The game will feature both single player and multiplayer modes, with multiplayer including cooperative or Player-Vs-Player. Environments will have a certain amount of destructability, while also having places where you can hide behind the terrain to defend yourself.
