Square Enix reveals new info on Dragon Quest Heroes 2
During their recent Dragon Quest presentation where a slew of titles were discussed, Square Enix shed more details on their follow-up to the hack-n-slash RPG with Dragon Quest Heroes II: Twin Kings and the Prophecy’s End.
Everything in the sequel will be completely new: the story, the world the action takes place in - even the protagonist. The big new feature is four-player multiplayer, as the original lacked multiplayer completely. Just from the artwork alone, we can see Maya and Kiryl from Dragon Quest IV, Terry and Carver from Dragon Quest VI, and Maribel from Dragon Quest VII.
Dragon Quest Heroes 2 will be released next spring in Japan. I am sure we will see it ourselves based on the success of the original which launches in October. We should learn more at this year's TGS in September, so in the meantime, you can check out the official site here.
