Hades Endings: How to get the True Ending

One of the most surprising things about Hades is how much it makes you care about the fate of its character, to the point where you'll genuinely be interested in finishing the game's story to its fullest. The game actually has a couple of different Endings, which this page is here to help you with.

There will of course be some mild spoilers for what happens the first time you beat the game's final boss to see the basic Hades Ending, although we won't be saying what happens when you've done enough to get the True Ending - we'll save that for you to see yourself, which following this guide will allow you to do!

How to get the True Ending in Hades

The first thing you need to do is to get to the end and beat Hades (the God, not the game). Once you've done this, you'll be able to get to the surface. Here you'll find Zagreus' mother Persephone and get to talk to her about your journey up to that point. You'll soon discover that Zagreus can't stay on the surface for too long before being whisked back to the Underworld.

From then on, you'll need to beat Hades nine more times to unlock the true ending. Each attempt will unlock new dialogue with Persephone and get you closer and closer to seeing how the story plays out. You'll know you've reached it when Hades and Zagreus don't fight each other. From there, you'll see the credits roll and see the true conclusion to the game's story which we won't spoil here.

If you're wanting to make the most out of these next nine attempts, we'd recommend changing your Infernal Arm each time to try and get as much Titan Blood as possible, seeing as how you get one for beating the final boss with each weapon.
