Genshin Impact Noelle Hangout guide: all choices & endings
Genshin Impact is, in a way, all about the characters. After all, the cast of the game are what'll get you doing draws to get your favorite, and that'll get you spending money. One way in which characters are showcased in the game is through hangouts - conversations where you get to know characters a little better.
One such conversation is the Noelle Hangout, which sees you spend time with the Claymore-wielding, would-be knight and Geo element representative Noelle. The Noelle hangout has six possible endings, and which you get will depend on choices made while you hang out. In this guide, we detail every ending and the choices you'll have to make to get there.
How to unlock & start the Noelle Hangout
In order to actually experience the Noelle Hangout special event, you'll need to first fulfill a few different requirements:
- Gather enough Adventure Rank EXP to reach Adventure Rank 26.
- Complete a specific Archon Quest - "Prologue: Act III - Song of the Dragon and Freedom".
- At this point, the Noelle Hangout appears on among your quests.
- In order to actually play the hangout, you'll need two Story Keys. Story Keys can be earned by finishing Daily Commissions; eight in total will get you a key, and you can complete up to four a day, so in theory it'll take you two days to get the items you need, keeping the Genshin Impact daily reset time in mind.
With the keys in hand, you can now start the Noelle Hangout event.
Genshin Impact Noelle Hangout guide: how to get all six endings
Genshin Impact's Hangout System is actually remarkably simple, really, and functions a lot like many dating mini-games in a lot of games. Noelle will have a heart meter, and you'll be faced with dialogue choices. Choosing things that Noelle doesn't like will deplete her hearts, and if you make enough bad choices the hangout will be ended prematurely. Just like real life!
If you can keep the hangout going, there's then six different 'good endings' to the Noelle hangout, each slightly different. Seeing each ending will also unlock rewards - and to get all the rewards, you'll need to complete the hangout event multiple times to see each of the six endings. You can repeat the event as much as you like, however, and Genshin Impact even outright shows a flow chart that reveals the branches and routes to unlock each ending, which is most useful. Below, we list the necessary dialogue choices to get all six Noelle Hangout endings. There's a handful of choices that matter for each ending - anything not listed doesn't impact that ending, meaning you can answer however you wish. Let's get down to it!
A Cold Reception | Noelle Hangout ending
The first of the Noelle Hangout endings is nice and simple - just two choices.
- Noelle: "I... If it's not too much trouble... could I ask you for some guidance on my Chivalric Training?"
- You know... it's okay not to be a knight. (Option 1)
- Alois: "So, so this gift is also a..."
- This one was made especially for you. (Option 1)
Goodbye, Miss Maid! | Noelle Hangout ending
The second ending just has you change one answer from the previous one.
- Noelle: "I... If it's not too much trouble... could I ask you for some guidance on my Chivalric Training?"
- You know... it's okay not to be a knight. (Option 1)
- Alois: "So, so this gift is also a..."
- It's just Noelle's way of showing hospitality. (Option 2)
A Defender's Will is Their Strength | Noelle Hangout ending
Now we branch the Noelle hangout by making a different choice at the very start. This one has a small section where you'll need to use a combat ability, too.
- Noelle: "I... If it's not too much trouble... could I ask you for some guidance on my Chivalric Training?"
- Of course, where do you want to start? (Option 2)
- Noelle: "I'm actually incredibly busy every day. It's just that... I always feel like something's missing."
- What you lack is strength! (Option 1)
When you have to destroy all the training dummies, use Noelle's charge attack to get them all in one go.
- Noelle: "Why? I just can't figure it out..."
- Is it because you lack real-world fighting experience? (Option 1)
A Maid Above Ground | Noelle Hangout ending
The fourth of Genshin Impact's Noelle hangout event endings is very similar to the third again, with a minor choice difference.
- Noelle: "I... If it's not too much trouble... could I ask you for some guidance on my Chivalric Training?"
- Of course, where do you want to start? (Option 2)
- Noelle: "I'm actually incredibly busy every day. It's just that... I always feel like something's missing."
- What you lack is strength! (Option 1)
When you have to destroy all the training dummies, use Noelle's charge attack to get them all in one go.
- Noelle: "Why? I just can't figure it out..."
- Because... you still need more strength! (Option 2)
A Conundrum Called Love | Noelle Hangout ending
Things get a little more intimate and soft-touch in the fifth and sixth endings... and again, it all branches from making one of the earlier choices differently.
- Noelle: "I... If it's not too much trouble... could I ask you for some guidance on my Chivalric Training?"
- Of course, where do you want to start? (Option 2)
- Noelle: "I'm actually incredibly busy every day. It's just that... I always feel like something's missing."
- What you lack is rest. (Option 2)
- Noelle: "But what kind of gift...?"
- It shouldn't matter, it's the thought that counts. (Option 1)

The sixth of the Noelle hangout endings appropriately is determined by just making a different dialogue choice in the very last dialoue option of this event. With this one done, you'll have all six, assuming you've acquired them in order!
