How to evolve Girafarig into Farigiraf in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet
Continuing the trend of the last few Pokemon generations, Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet have added a number of new evolutions for existing Pokemon. One of the most disconcerting of these new evolutions is the one for Girafarig, Farigiraf. The tail's hunger has finally sated itself, after having devoured the other side of the Pokemon's body - stretching its neck out even further and strengthening its psychic abilities. But how do you evolve one of your own?
Where to catch Girafarig, and how to evolve it into Farigiraf
Before you can evolve a Girafarig, it stands to reason that you'll need to catch one first. You can find them at the above location, and thankfully the spawn rate for Girafarig is very high. You'll be able to find one of your own almost immediately. Once you've caught a suitable Pokemon, then it's time to evolve it - thankfully, it's fairly straightforward.
While Girafarig doesn't strictly evolve from reaching any specific level, it learns the ability Twin Beam at level 32 - and upon learning it, will evolve. If you neglected to teach your Girafarig the move - or it leveled up in the background.- you can always teach it the move later on to retain the ability to evolve it.
Farigiraf is a powerful Psychic-type ally, with a very respectable Special Attack stat, and decent HP stat bulk. If you decide to add a Farigiraf to your team, good luck catching one!
