Persona 3 Portable: Kenji (Magician) social link choices guide

There’s something of a tradition in Persona of preppy, upbeat friends who fulfil the role of the Magician Arcana S-Link - and in Persona 3 Portable, that role falls to Kenji Tomochika and his mandatory social link.

When we say mandatory, we simply mean that this S-Link automatically activates as you progress the male protagonist’s version of the Persona 3 story. Ranking up the Kenji social link after that is entirely up to you, however - and this guide will help you to do that, with all the right dialogue options to hit max rank and get the best Magician Persona fusion outcomes from early on.

Kenji Tomochika S-Link Guide - Magician

The Persona 3 Portable Kenji Social Link is exclusive to the male protagonist. Here's all the choices to max rank on this Magician arcana S-Link.

As previously mentioned, the Persona 3 Portable Kenji Social Link will initiate automatically during April, and from there you’ll be able to spend time with Kenji to rank up the S-Link. Saying the right thing to him during your hangouts will make the link rank up more quickly, however - which in turn saves you time to see other people or do other things.

As ever, this guide lists all of the dialogue choices that have bonuses attached that can make your relationship advance more quickly. Any choices not listed do not have any effect, so you can say whatever you like for those. Finally, the point totals listed here include the bonus you get for when you have a Magician Arcana Persona in your party stock when spending time with Kenji - so make sure you do that in order to maximize your gains.

After his S-Link is initiated, Kenji is available on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday daytimes, and can be found hanging out in your classroom at Gekkoukan High, which means most days he’ll be right in front of you when the school day ends.
