Fire Emblem Engage Emblem Ring Unlock List
Emblem Rings are the hottest new item added to Fire Emblem Engage, the driving force behind this game's defining new mechanic: the ability to summon classic heroes from the past of Fire Emblem, using them to significantly power up the abilities of your cast of characters in battle.
Each of the heroes from the past that's enclosed within each Emblem Ring provides special skills, buffs, and more to the characters they are paired with. This is the mechanic that gives this new game its namesake - the Engage system. While you're limited in terms of how much you can use the mechanics related to these Rings and characters, when you do 'Engage' to take on a super-powered fusion of an iconic past hero and a new fighter, you'll be able to take advantage of unique weapons and special attacks that are not only a major hit of nostalgia, but also hugely powerful.
On this page, we list all of the Emblems, plus how and when to unlock them. It pairs well with our guide to all of the Chapter Rewards & Unlocks in the game.
Emblem Rings List & Unlocks
Here's the good news: while there's a lot of elements of Fire Emblem Engage that are optional for you to, ahem, engage in and manage - the Emblem Rings aren't one of those elements. All of the core Emblems are unmissable as you progress through the game - and then beyond that, there's the DLC Emblem Rings which, of course, aren't compulsory.
During the course of the story, you'll obtain Emblem Rings and therefore be able to equip their associated Emblem - and at some points in the story, you'll lose access to Rings. We list both when they're first acquired and when you get them back here, so you can plan ahead. Here is a breakdown though of when you can expect to get your favorite Emblem hero:
