How to Unlock the Honkai Star Rail Before the Tutorial Mission Starts Light Cone

Completing the "Punklorde Mentality" Companion Mission is the fastest way to unlock the Before the Tutorial Mission Starts Light Cone. You might feel tempted to meander through Arcade Challenges after unlocking the first set of graffiti during the mission, but prioritizing the Story Mode will unlock all the graffiti you need to earn the first copy of the Light Cone.

Check the "Starhunt Game" section under the Travel Log of your phone dashboard. There should be an option to either complete the Story Mode or Arcade Challenges. The Before the Tutorial Mission Starts Light Cone starts as a puzzle-esque photo where different parts correspond to specific graffiti that you can unlock in the Punklorde Mentality Companion Mission. You have to complete the Story Mode to earn enough graffiti to complete the puzzle.

After reaching a certain point in the mission, you’ll be able to complete Arcade Challenges to earn rewards. You will also unlock graffiti at checkpoints throughout the mission. By the end, you should have all the graffiti you need to unlock the Before the Tutorial Starts Light Cone.

Starhunt Game started from the beginning of the Honkai: Star Rail 1.1 update. As per the official rules, you have until June 19, 2023 at 3:59 a.m. ET to participate in the event. The redemption period, the time when you can claim rewards from the event, ends a week later on June 26, 2023 at 3:59 a.m. ET. Therefore, you have until June 19 to finish the Story Mode. You can still claim the rewards from the Story Mode and Arcade Challenges, including Superimpositions for the Nihility Light Cone, the week after.

What is the Before the Tutorial Mission Starts Light Cone?

At this time, it’s a limited-time Light Cone that you can only get during the Starhunt Game event. The illustration features what seems to be a memory of Silver Wolf acing a rookie assignment. Silver Wolf, Kafka, Blade, and Owlbert all appear in the photo.

The Light Cone itself is especially fitting for Silver Wolf, a character that specializes in debuffs. Before the Tutorial Mission Starts increases the wearer’s Effect Hit Rate by 20 percent. When the wearer attacks DEF-reduced enemies, regenerates 4 Energy. If you reach Superimposition Level 5, then the effects double. The wearer increases their Effect Hit Rate by 40 percent and regenerates 8 Energy when they attack a DEF-reduced enemy.
