Cyberpunk 2077 Mission List: All Main Story Missions for 2.0 and Phantom Liberty
The question of how many quests there are in Cyberpunk 2077 is a little bit of a complicated one, since the story of this sprawling action RPG isn't exactly one-to-three linear. In truth, the game can be completed by finishing few quests - or by getting deep into a number of quest lines. This Mission List will help you to make sure you hit all of the 'main' story missions in the game, updated for Version 2.0 and the Phantom Liberty expansion.
Cyberpunk 2077 Mission List & Story Structure Explained
You can think of Cyberpunk 2077's main missions and story as split into four distinct 'acts'. There's the Prologue, Act 1, Act 2, and the Epilogue.
These are deeply uneven in how they're spread - the Prologue is a handful of missions, Act 1 is similar, but then Act 2 makes up the lion's share of Cyberpunk 2077. Act 3 kicks off once you open up the last mission, and consists of the final missions and endings of the game, plus the chance to tick off any side content you haven't yet completed.
We've broken the Mission List for the main story-driven missions of Cyberpunk 2077 into categories based on that structure:
- Prologue Mission List
- Act 1 Mission List
- Act 2 Mission List
- Phantom Liberty Expansion Mission List
- Act 3 & Epilogue Mission List
The Prologue Mission List
- Your Life Path Quest (one of these three, as determined by your life path choice)
- The Nomad
- The Street Kid
- The Corpo
- Practice Makes Perfect
- The Rescue
- The Gig (Complete some side content until Act 1 unlocks)
Act 1 Mission List
Act 1 is all about V and Jackie preparing for their heist, a gig that's their shot at becoming part of the Night City big-time. It's also your first chance to engage in side content, which is not listed here.
- The Ripperdoc
- The Ride
- The Information
- The Pickup
- The Heist
- Love Like Fire
Act 2 Mission List
- Playing for Time
After Playing For Time, three main quest lines will kick off. Each features some key characters for your Cyberpunk 2077 journey, and each leads to a string of new missions. While it's possible to progress to the endings by completing a handful of these quest lines, completing them all will unlock more options in the final stages of the game.
Many of these storylines don't entirely wrap up in the 'main missions', either - Judy and Panam will call you for further quests and story development after their main quest is over, for instance, which can lead to romances.
- Automatic Love (Judy, Clouds, & the Mox quest line)
- The Space In Between
- Disasterpiece
- Double Life
- M'ap Taan Pelen
- I Walk The Line
- Transmission
- Never Fade Away
- Ghost Town (Panam & Aldecados quest line)
- Lightning Breaks
- Life During Wartime
- Down on the Street (Takemura & Arasaka quest line)
- Gimmie Danger
- Play it Safe (must have completed the previous Takemura quests and Panam's 'Life During Wartime').
- Search and Destroy
- Tapeworm (Must have completed all three major storylines)
Phantom Liberty Mission List
Phantom Liberty can be started at any point during Act 2 after the quests involving the Voodoo Boys. Once started, you'll be trapped in Dogtown for a few missions, then given access to Night City again - meaning you can weave this spy thriller in and out of the rest of your Cyberpunk 2077 adventure. The Phantom Liberty main Mission List is as follows:
- Phantom Liberty (unlocks after you complete Transmission and Never Fade Away, which is reached via the Judy mission thread)
- Dog Eat Dog
- Hole in the Sky
- Spider and the Fly
