Kingdom Come Deliverance Alchemy Recipe List: how to craft items like the Saviour Schnapps, Antidote and Healing Potions

In this section, we outline the potions you can craft with alchemy - some healing potions, plus an Antidote for curing poisons, and of course Saviour Schnapps - a life-saver for saving the game. Here's the complete list of Kingdom Come Deliverance's alchemy options, how you create them, and what they do...

Saviour Schnapps Alchemy Recipe

Using this potion will let you save the game, something which isn't always easy in Kingdom Come Deliverance. Ingredients required: Winum (Wine), 1 Nettle, 2 Belladonna.

To create this, Boil the Nettle for 2 turns. Then Grind the Belladonna. Finally, add the Belladonna to the Nettle for 1 more turn. Voila - a drink to help you save!

Aesop Potion

The Aesop Potion calms animals. Horses will be more obedient, dogs won't bark at you - and so on. The ingredients you'll need to make it are Spirits, 1 Wild Boar Tusk, 1 Wormwood, 1 Belladonna and 1 Comfrey.

In order to create the Aesop Potion, first put the Wormwood and Wild Boar Tusk into the cauldron together. Boil them for 2 turns, then leave the cauldron to cool off. Grind up the Comfrey, and then put it and the Belladonna into the cauldron - but don't cook it any more. Instead, Distil the result to get your potion.

Aqua Vitalis

Aqua Vitalis will restore some vitality to you - it'll strengthen you when you're weak. It's simple to craft - you'll just need Water, 2 Dandelion and 1 Marigold to craft it.

To do that in alchemy, first grind the Marigold. Once you've d1 that, Boil the Dandelions for 1 turn and then add in the Marigold. Boil the 2 together for 1 turn, then Distil what you have left.

Antidote

Using this will cure poisoning status effects. You'll need Water, 1 Charcoal, 1 Nettle and 2 Thistle.

To create this in alchemy put the thistle in the cauldron and boil it for 2 turns. Then add the nettle and boil for 1 more turn. Allow this to cool. When you're d1, add the charcoal - but don't boil it. Just adding it is enough!

Bard Potion

The Bard Potion is useful for social situations, lowering your inhibitions. It has some nasty side effects, though, causing weakness. To create it you'll need Oleum (oil), 1 Charcoal, 1 Nettle, 1 St. John's Wort and 1 Belladonna.

To create the Bard Potion in Alchemy first grind up the St. John's Wort, then grind the nettles. Toss everything into the cauldron and then simmer it for 2 turns. Finally, add the Charcoal as a finishing touch.

Bivoj’s Rage

Bivoj's Rage boosts your strength in battle, a really useful buff in Kingdom Come Deliverance. To create it you'll need Vinum (wine), 1 Cave Mushroom, 1 Wormwood and 2 Sage.

Here's how you use those ingredients: first put the Sage into the cauldron and boil it for 2 turns. Leave that to cool and grind the Wormwood. After the cauldron is cool, add the ground Wormwood to the mix. Finally, add the Cave Mushroom and Distil.

Bowman's Brew

The Bowman's Brew steadies your hands and therefore your aim when using bows, and is great when paired with the console command to turn on an aiming cursor. To craft it you'll need Spirits, 2 Eyebrights and 1 St. John's Wort.

To create the Bowman's Brew, put the Eyebright into the cauldron. Boil it for three consecutive terms. When that's d1, let the cauldron cool off with the eyebright still in it. Grind the St. John's Wort and then add it to the pot, but don't cook any further.

Buck’s Blood Potion

The Buck's Blood Potion is useful for dealing with pesky encumberment - drink it to feel less tired when out of breath or weighed down by heavy class armor. To craft it, you'll need Oleum (oil), 1 St. John's Wort, 1 Dandelion and 1 Comfrey.

To actually create the Buck's Blood Potion in alchemy, first grind the St. John's Wort. Then put it into a cauldron along with the Comfrey and boil it for 1 turn. Finally, leave it to cool off and then add the Dandelions - but don't cook it any more! Just serve.

To create the Nighthawk potion first grind up the Eyebright. Once this is done, place it and the Belladonna into the cauldron. Boil the pair for three turns. Once that's done, add the Cave Mushroom and Distil what's left.

Spirits

Spirits are pretty similar to how they appear in real life - they can warm you up in cold weather and make you feel better when you're sick, but it'll intoxicate you like wine does - even more than wine does. You'll need Spirits, 1 Mint, 1 St. John's Wort and 1 Sage to create it in Alchemy.
