Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Cyndaquil: Where to find Cyndaquil
While many of the returning starters in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet: The Indigo Disk spawn in large sections of Blueberry Academy's Terarium, a few select Pokemon are especially difficult to find - only spawning in a select portion of the map. We already wrote about another Fire-Type starter that will only spawn in a random cave in the Polar Biome, but surprisingly enough there's another that's the same; Cyndaquil.
How to spawn Cyndaquil
To spawn any new starter Pokemon in Blueberry Academy, you'll need to grind up BP from doing Quests in the Terarium - 3000 BP per biome you wish to upgrade. You'll be able to spend your BP at the League Club Room, which players will be forced to do during the course of the story. Cyndaquil in particular requires the player to upgrade the Polar Biome. Once you've spent the BP, it's then time to search for a Cyndaquil; but where do you find it?
Where to catch Torchic
As you can see, Cyndaquil can only spawn in a single section of the Polar Biome. Specifically, a cave directly connected to an Iceberg floating around in the makeshift lake. Usually most starters will have many locations that they can spawn, so this leaves Cyndaquil as one of a few anomalies which require extra care to find.
It might take a few rotations of hopping into and out of the cave for a Cyndaquil to spawn, but the cave it can be found in is almost impossible to miss, at the base of the giant iceberg, located at the location highlighted above. Unfortunately, while you can catch a Cyndaquil just fine in Scarlet and VIolet now, you won't be able to evolve it into a Hisuian Form Typhlosion; you'll have to either trade for or transfer it from a copy of Pokemon Legends: Arceus. Either way, enjoy your new friend!
