Metaphor: Refantazio Debate Answers and Outcomes

An interesting mechanic of Metaphor: Refantazio is the ability for players to get up on a stage and promote their ideology to the people. While this often is just a way to increase your Eloquence stat (known as a Royal Virtue), how you promote that ideology is important. While you may be able to get up on stage and preach to the choir, sometimes you will be engaged in honest debate by one of your competitors to the throne. There are right and wrong answers in these debates, and correctly responding to your opponents can not only earn you a few Popularity points, but also additional MAG and Eloquence points as well.

We have a list of responses down below, but due to the nature of Metaphor — we have reason to believe the game might shift these opportunities based on where you are in the story, if you've completed the current deadline task, and so on. You might also trigger a debate sooner or later then the specified date, the dates listed are simply the earliest dates we triggered it on our files. If you miss a debate, check back another day! As long as you're in the chapter focused on the city, with a few days to spare, you should be able to find these competitors to the throne.

It's also worth stressing that aside from bonus Reeve and the occasional bonus Eloquence point, the outcome of these debates do not ultimately matter in the long run. You will have ample opportunity to max out your Royal Virtues long before the end of the game.
