Monster Hunter Wilds Roadmap – Every Update and Addition Upcoming

If you're here, you likely either have completed what Monster Hunter Wilds has to offer or are just curious of what the future holds for the game. Capcom has already announced the headline monster for the game's first free title update, confirmed the release window for the next one, and even mentioned that we will get new Event Quests with both of the first two free title updates. This update roadmap and guide will cover all the updates and additions to Monster Hunter Wilds and will be updated whenever we get a new update or announcement for major new content in the game.

Monster Hunter Wilds roadmap: what updates are coming?

As of right now - February 28, 2025, Capcom has announced (at least) 2 major free Title Updates for Monster Hunter Wilds. The first Title Update will be released in early April. Title Update 2 will be released later in Summer, with updates "To be continued...".

Given how Monster Hunter Wilds builds on what we got in Monster Hunter World, it is likely that we see better post-launch support here compared to Monster Hunter Rise's base game. Let's have a look at what's been announced so far.

What's Coming in Title Update 1 for MH Wilds?

Title Update 1 is planned for release in early April. It is set to bring in Mizutsune, Event Quests, a monster stronger than Tempered ones, and what looks like a proper Gathering Hub. More details are not available as of this writing, but it is likely we see tweaks to some existing monsters in some form through new Frenzied monsters, Tempered monsters, or even new Guardian ones.

What's Coming in Title Update 2 for MH Wilds?

Capcom hasn't revealed anything about Monster Hunter Wilds Title Update 2 aside from the confirmation of it bringing an additional monster and more Event Quests.

What's Coming in 2025 for MH Wilds?

With Capcom confirming (as we all expected) that support will continue after two free title updates, we don't have more details as of this writing. Once we actually get an update or two out of the way and see how Capcom actually supports Monster Hunter Wilds, we will have a better idea on what to expect later this year and even beyond.
