Monster Hunter Wilds Save Data Bonus Guide – How to claim Monster Hunter World, Iceborne, & Capcom ID bonuses

Monster Hunter Wilds rewards those who played Monster Hunter World, Monster Hunter World: Iceborne, the open beta tests, and have linked their Capcom ID to the platform Monster Hunter Wilds is being played on. In most games with save data bonuses, just playing on the same platform unlocks content for you. In Monster Hunter Wilds, you need to ensure you have the save data on the same platform and also claim the content unlocked in-game. This Monster Hunter Wilds save data bonus guide will cover all the bonus content and how to claim it.

What are the Monster Hunter Wilds save data bonuses?

Monster Hunter Wilds on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam lets you claim certain bonuses for having save data from Monster Hunter World, Monster Hunter Wilds: Iceborne, having played the open beta tests, and having linked your Capcom ID.

Monster Hunter World and Iceborne save data bonus in Monster Hunter Wilds

The Monster Hunter World save data bonus includes the following:

  • Palico weapon: Felyne Acorn Spade
  • Palico armor: Felyne Leather Cap
  • Palico armor: Felyne Leather Vest
  • Nameplate: Extra Frame - World (This is for your Hunter Profile customization)

The Monster Hunter World: Iceborne save data bonus includes the following:

  • Palico weapon: Felyne Trekker Peckaxe
  • Palico armor: Felyne Duffel Hood
  • Palico armor: Felyne Duffel Coat
  • Nameplate: Extra Frame - Iceborne (This is for your Hunter Profile customization)

Note that you need to actually have a save in Iceborne and have completed the ending of Monster Hunter: World and have spoken to the Feisty Fiver near Astera and traveled to the Ancient Forest. If you just own World and Iceborne and have not progressed to that point, you will not get the Iceborne bonus, but will get the world bonus. You also need to ensure your save data is on the actual system and not in the cloud. You will not be able to claim the save bonuses if you only play on Steam Deck.
