Monster Hunter Wilds Giant Vigorwasp – Where To Find the Giant Vigorwasp and Complete A Gutsy Move Mission
Monster Hunter Wilds is finally here, and with it comes a plethora of side missions (optional quests) given to you by various NPCs across the camps and regions. One of the early game side missions is given to you by your Palico who wants you to capture a Giant Vigorwasp. The quest is called A Gutsy Move, and if you aren't familiar with Vigorwasps, they are the giant Bee or Wasp-like creatures that have a jelly-like bag below them. You press the right face button to use them to heal during hunts as they are present in many parts of different maps. This guide will help you find the Giant Vigorwasp, what you need to capture it, and how you can reliably spawn it.
Monster Hunter Wilds A Gutsy Move side mission guide
The side mission "A Gutsy Move" is given to you by your Palico, and you need to capture a Giant Vigorwasp to complete it. Giant Vigorwasps, as the name suggests, are simply larger versions of Vigorwasps. These sometimes spawn next to regular Vigorwasps, but a reliable way to capture them is going near the Oasis camp in Area 13 in the Windward Plains in the morning and having the environment during the "Plenty". You can either wait for the weather and time to change or rest at a camp and pay 300 Guild Points to change to Morning and the Plenty.
How to capture a Giant Vigorwasp in Monster Hunter Wilds
When you've gone to the Oasis in Area 13 in the Windward Plains and spot the Giant Vigorwasp, your Palico or Alma will comment on it, but even if they don't, you can equip the capture net and walk near it. Aim with the capture net with the left trigger, and then press the right trigger when it changes the rectangle reticle color once the Giant Vigorwasp is within your reach.
