Lunar Remastered - Lunar 2 Eternal Blue Bromide Guide

In both Lunar games, one of the more infamous collectibles are the bromides—a picture that can only be obtained by talking to specific characters at just the right time. They’re easy to miss, and while the games themselves are fairly straightforward, missing even one bromide can force a replay if you're aiming for the platinum trophy or full achievement completion. In Eternal Blue, collecting the bromides is much easier compared to the first game. The steps required are far less obtuse, and there's a much larger window of opportunity for when you can acquire them; even so, they should be acquired immediately. There are a total of 7 bromides you can collect during the main story, and an additional 15 bromides found throughout the epilogue, bringing the total to 22 bromides. Bromides found in the epilogue don't require super-specific timing or obscure requirements.

For this guide, we’ve compiled a complete list of where to find all the bromides. Please note that there will be minor spoilers, as many of these collectibles are tied to specific story beats or events. This guide can also be used for the original PlayStation version of Eternal Blue, as the instructions and event triggers are the same. Unlike Silver Star Story.

Lucia's Bromide 1 - (1/22)

Instructions: After resting up at Ronfar's Place, talk to the man above the Althena Statue.

Jean's Bromide 2 - (2/22)

Instructions: After defeating Plantella, talk to the rest of the caravan members until the vines are removed from the exit. Once the path is clear, speak to the girl who was previously guarding the exit — she will give you the bromide.

Lemina's Bromide 3 - (3/22)

Instructions: In Meribia, head to Ramus' Store and talk to Ramus' Grandpa. Keep speaking to him repeatedly — on the fourth time, he will finally hand over a bromide.

Lemina's Bromide 2 - (4/22)

Instructions: In Meribia, head to Ramus' Store and examine the barrel in the upper left corner.

Jessica's Bromide - (5/22)

Instructions: In Meribia, head to the pub. Then talk to the guy in the upper left corner.

Mia's Bromide - (6/22)

Instructions: In the Vane Transmission Springs, talk to the man holding a pitchfork.

Lemina's Bromide 1 - (7/22)

Instructions: In Vane's Library, on the top row, examine the bookshelf on the far right.

Mauri's Bromide 2 - (8/22)

Instructions: In Raculi, open the treasure behind Ronfar's house. 

Mauri's Bromide 1 - (9/22)

Instructions: After Ronfar joins you, talk to Mauri in Raculi.

Luna's Bromide - (10/22)

Instructions: In Vane, go inside the house to the left of the entrance. Talk to the lady to the left to get the bromide.

Borgan's Bromide - (11/22)

Instructions: In Vane, go to the Magic Guild and talk to Borgan after recruiting Lemina. 

Jean's Bromide 3 - (12/22)

Instructions: In Madoria Carnival, go to the second map and talk to the guy near the front. He will sell you the bromide for 3000 Silver.

Jean's Bromide 4 - (13/22)

Instructions: In Madoria Carnival, go to the second map. There is a treasure containing the bromide.

Lucia's Bromide 3 - (14/22)

Instructions: In the Mystic Ruins, make your way to the garden where the fairies reside. Talk to the fairy located in the upper right corner to receive a bromide.

Ghaleon's Bromide - (15/22)

Instructions: In the Mystic Ruins, go to the location where the memory projection occurred. There is a treasure right there that contains the bromide.

Lucia's Bromide 4 - (16/22)

Instructions: In Taben's Peak, check one of the cell rooms— there’s a chest inside that contains the bromide.

Lucia's Bromide 2 - (17/22)

Instructions: In Taben's Peak, go to the balcony and talk to the baby.

Nall's Bromide 2 - (18/22)

Instructions: In Taben's Peak, in the room before the balcony, talk to the girl in the playground equipment room.

Instructions: In the Meribia Sewers, there is a chest that contains the bromide.

Jean's Bromide 1 - (20/22)

Instructions: After recruiting Jean, head to Horam. Then go to the house to the left of the main dojo. Talk to the old man to receive the bromide.

Mystere's Bromide - (21/22)

Instructions: In Takkar, talk to the old guy guarding the northern gate.

Hiro's Bromide - (22/22)

Instructions: Found in the Lionhead Dungeon. Located in a chest that is near the boss room on the roof.

Borgan's Bromide X - (PSX Exclusive)

PSX Version Instructions: This bromide is exclusive to the Working Designs version. To obtain it, examine the tapestry behind Borgan, then rapidly press X and O back and forth until you hear a chime. When you hear the chime, it will be in your inventory.
