Persona 5 Royal has sold 1.4 million units worldwide; Persona series total sales surpass 13 million
Atlus has announced that Persona 5 Royal sales have surpassed 1.4 million units worldwide. Additionally, Atlus announced that Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers - the action spinoff - has sold 480K in Japan and Asia, Persona 4 Golden on Steam has surpassed 500K sales, and the entire Persona series sales have surpassed 13 million overall.
A new artwork by Shigenori Soejima highlighting the Royal and Scramble sales numbers is shared below.
In the last numbers update for Persona 5 given last December, Atlus announced that Persona 5 sales as a whole were above 3.2 million, with the Royal re-release in Japan selling above 400K at that time.
Doing some math estimation from those given numbers, that would likely put the cumulative international (non-JP) sales of Persona 5 Royal just under 1 million, with the overall sales for all versions of Persona 5 somewhere above 4 million.
There's still no word for a potential localization for Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers, but hopefully we don't have to wait for too much longer.
