Azur Lane Crosswave DLC characters will be available in the West this Fall

Idea Factory International has confirmed that the English release of Azur Lane: Crosswave will receive the five character DLC sets within this Fall.

These DLC sets have been revealed previously in Japan, and all of them have been available in the Japanese release as of this May. Each set adds a new playable shipgirl, fully rendered in 3D and having her own storyline - which also features three more shipgirls as support characters that do not have playable 3D models but can still be chosen as secretary and provide support skills during battles.

The full list of additional playable and support characters that are added with these sets are as following:

  • 1st DLC main character: IJN Taihou (Aircraft Carrier)
    Support characters: FFNF Saint-Louis, MNF Dunkerque, MNF Jean Bart
     
  • 2nd DLC main character: HMS Formidable (Aircraft Carrier)
    Support characters: HMS Warspite, HMS Neptune, RN Zara
     
  • 3rd DLC main character: KMS Roon (Heavy Cruiser)
    Support characters: KMS Graf Zeppelin, KMS Deutschland, KMS Admiral Graf Spee
     
  • 4th DLC main character: MNF Le Malin (Destroyer)
    Support characters: USS Essex, USS Baltimore, HMS Centaur
     
  • 5th DLC main character: HMS Sirius (Light Cruiser)
    Support characters: HMS London, USS Alabama, IJN Azuma

Azur Lane: Crosswave is currently available for PlayStation 4 and PC via Steam worldwide. A Nintendo Switch release will also be available in Japan on September 17, although we have yet to hear from Idea Factory International if this Switch release will also be brought overseas or not. Gear up for new challenges ahead! We’re excited to announce five new character DLC for the PlayStation®4 and Steam release of the 3D action shooter game, Azur Lane: Crosswave, which are set to launch in the West this Fall. The game is now available physically and digitally on PS4 in North America, Europe, and on Steam. The Steam version includes Japanese, Traditional/Simplified Chinese, and English subtitles. 

Each of the 5 DLC unlocks:

  • One Main playable character
  • 3 new support ships
  • Additional Story Mode content for the Main playable character
