GreedFall surpasses 1 million copies sold worldwide

Spiders Studio has announced that GreedFall has sold over 1 million copies worldwide. The action RPG launched last September in the west, and a Japanese release is set for October 2020. GreedFall was also added in the most recent update to PlayStation Now, where the game can be played on-demand as part of a subscription service.

GreedFall was, by all accounts, a significant success for Spiders and its publisher at Focus Home Interactive. Strangely enough, despite working with Focus Home Interactive on most of their output, Spiders was acquired by Nacon (formerly Bigben) last summer, and Spiders' newest title Steelrising was announced at Nacon Connect last month.

We thought GreedFall was a pleasant surprise in our review last year, so we're eager to see what's to come next from the team.
