Dante joins Shin Megami Tensei III Nocturne HD Remaster as paid DLC
Atlus Japan has released a new trailer for Shin Megami Tensei III Nocturne HD Remaster, which shows that Dante from the Devil May Cry series will be available as part of a 'Maniax Pack' DLC. According to the trailer, this will cost ¥980.
Shin Megami Tensei III Nocturne HD Remaster is based on the 2008 'Maniax Chronicle' edition of the game, which replaced Dante's famous cameo appearance with that of Raidou Kuzunoha XIV. The Maniax Pack DLC will give the option to play through the 'Maniax' version of the game, instead of 'Maniax Chronicle', which will keep Dante's cameo intact.
In other words, Raidou is in the remaster base game. You can buy the DLC to replace Raidou with Dante.
Additionally, the remaster adds the Pierce effect to Dante's passive Son's Oath ability, a buff which makes him more equal to Raidou as a battle combatant.
