Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth series shipped over 1.5 million copies worldwide
Bandai Namco announced that Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth and its side-story sequel Hacker's Memory have surpassed a combined total of 1.5 million copies shipped worldwide.
Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth was first released on PlayStation Vita in Japan in March 2015. The Western release of Cyber Sleuth in February 2016 added a PlayStation 4 version, which Japan didn't get until Cyber Sleuth was included in Hacker's Memory, which was released for PS4 and PS Vita in Japan in December 2017. Both games were later ported to Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam as Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth: Complete Edition, which was released simultaneously worldwide in October 2019.
Bandai Namco is celebrating this milestone by holding a sale in Japan for not only Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth: Hacker's Memory but also Digimon World Next Order International Edition and the 3DS game Digimon World Re:Digitize Decode. Although unrelated to the milestone celebration, the North American Nintendo Switch digital release of Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth: Complete Edition is also currently having a 50% discount until October 22.
