Disgaea 6: Defiance of Destiny second Japanese trailer published
Nippon Ichi Software has published the second official trailer for Disgaea 6: Defiance of Destiny in Japan. It shows a rundown of the latest sequel's gameplay features.
The trailer starts with flashbacks of all prior mainline Disgaea titles—including Disgaea D2 in 2013. It then shows a rundown of every gameplay feature in this game. From existing features from past series such as Dark Assembly and Item Worlds, new features that have also been explained like Karma, Super Reincarnation, Auto Battle, and Auto AI Edit, to even more new features that have yet to be explained such as Drink Bar, Item World Dispatch Teams, and Achievements.
Other than double speed, the trailer also revealed even faster 4x and 8x speed options. However, they will need to be unlocked first with approval at the Dark Assembly.

NIS America released an English version of this same trailer, which interestingly shows Switch footage for Disgaea 6 rather than PlayStation 4. Disgaea 6's PS4 version is currently only set to release in Japan.
Disgaea 6: Defiance of Destiny will be available exclusively on the Nintendo Switch in the West in Summer 2021. In Japan, it will be released for not only Switch but also PlayStation 4 on January 28.
