Sword of the Necromancer - free Steam prologue released, new animated opening movie

Ahead of its launch in December, publisher JanduSoft and developer Grimorio of Games have released a free Steam prologue for upcoming roguelike dungeon-crawler action RPG Sword of the Necromancer.

In addition to the prologue release, an animated opening movie trailer has also been shared, which can be found below. The animation was created by Sunshine Animation Studio, which has also made cinematic trailers for games such as Cris Tales and Temtem.

Sword of the Necromancer is set to release in December 2020 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. A PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S release will follow in 2021. More information about the game can be found here.
