Hellpoint to release for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S in 2021

Publisher tinyBuild and developer Cradle Games have announced that action RPG Hellpoint will release for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Serie X|S in 2021. The souls-like game previously released in July 2020 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. A Nintendo Switch version is set to release sometime in November 2020.

Those who own the PlayStation 4 or Xbox One version of the game can play on new consoles via backwards compatibility, and a patch will be made available in 2021 to enhance the game's performance.

In addition to faster loading times, next-gen versions on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X will offer two performance options:

Performance Mode – Dynamic 4K resolution at 60 frame- per-second
Quality Mode – Native 4K resolution at 30 frames-per-second

In George's review for Hellpoint, he found the game is to be a decent take on the well-worn action RPG formula, held back by clunky combat and strange game progression.
