Nippon Ichi Sees Increased Profits
Following their previous losses last year, Nippon Ichi, the company behind games such as the Disgaea series, has seemingly bounced back.
Sales have increased 4.4% to 2,217 million yen, as well as an increase in operating income to a positive 315 million yen. NIS points to increased sales out of Japan, more specifically titles that had sold beyond their original expectations. No specifics were listed in their financial report, however.
The publisher also wishes to expand to 3DS and NGP this year, resulting in a 3.2% increase in sales at 2,289 million yen, but at a lower operating income.
This news comes on the day of Nippon Ichi's American press conference, so stay tuned as we'll have more updates from them as the day goes on.
