GreedFall to receive new content and a PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S release

Nacon and Focus Home Interactive have announced (PDF) that colonial action RPG GreedFall will get a re-release for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, as well as receive new game content. The game was previously detailed to have sold over 1 million copies worldwide.

GreedFall originally released in September 2019, published by Focus Home Interactive and developed by Spiders Studio. Spiders was acquired by Bigben Interactive (now Nacon) in mid-2019 shortly before the game's release. In a press release today, Nacon and Focus Home Interactive state:

The two companies have thus reached an agreement, in which Focus Home Interactive will be in charge of the publishing of the upcoming additional content and expansion, as well as the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S/X versions of GreedFall. The GreedFall brand is now integrated as part of the NACON portfolio.
