Death end re;Quest to release for Nintendo Switch eShop in Japan on December 24
Compile Heart has announced that Death end re;Quest will release for Nintendo Switch eShop in Japan on December 24, priced at 4800 yen. The RPG/VN hybrid originally released for PlayStation 4 in Japan in 2018, followed by an English release for PS4 and Steam in 2019. Details about an English release for the Nintendo Switch version have yet to be stated.
Death end re;Quest is a game where developer Shina Ninomiya discovers that she is trapped inside her own game, a virtual MMORPG called 'World Odyssey', and need to complete the game with the rare true ending in order to return to the real world. However, the game is full of bugs and glitches that Shina must overcome. The scenario is written by Makoto Kedouin, known for Corpse Party.
