Ciel nosurge DX and Ar nosurge DX delayed to March 4 in Japan
Koei Tecmo and Gust have delayed the release date of Surge Concerto DX in Japan. The compilation of the current-gen ports of Ciel nosurge and Ar nosurge was initially slated for release on January 28; it will now be released in Japan on March 4.
The series' general producer Akira Tsuchiya has also posted an apology for the delay. We have translated it as follows:
I hereby deeply apologize that the delay in the release date of Surge Concerto DX has bothered all related people and everyone who has been looking forward to the release.
I personally have a strong desire to pursue my obsession with Surge Concerto further no matter what. Under a preparedness that this will end up bothering everyone who has been anticipating it, it is with a heavy heart that I decided to delay the release.
Surge Concerto DX is being produced with the wish of always existing together with everyone. We will endeavor to finish it with a quality that will make you want to have it always exist together in your heart.
Surge Concerto DX, which consistsĀ of Ciel nosurge DX and Ar nosurge DX, will be released for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam in Japan. An English localization has yet to be announced for either title. Gust has also previously published a promotional trailer for the new ports.
