Tales of Xillia Dated for Japan and Limited Edition PS3 Announced
The long awaited day for Tales fans has come, as Tales of Xillia now has a finalized release date in Japan.
Importers and Japanese fans alike can expect the game to drop on September 8, 2011, and set you back a hefty ¥8379. In addition to the standard edition, a limited collectors version of the game will also be available for ¥12,980. This set will include a copy of the game, two figurines based on main characters Milla and Jude, and a special Tales of Xillia calendar, all bundled in a special packaging.
Launching along side the game will be the TALES OF XILLIA X Edition PlayStation 3 bundle. For ¥37,980, you too can have your very own Tales of Xillia custom themed PS3 console complete with a red and gold motif of the two main characters over charcoal black.
In addition, the first printing of the game will feature ten specialized PS3 XMB themes, again, each featuring the two lead characters and more. Preorders will also receive bonus character costumes in the form of Cless Alvein from Tales of Phantasia and Stahn Aileron from Tales of Destiny, as well as a randomly choosen mascot charm.
No plans have been announced for this title regarding a western release, but we'll be sure to bring you that information when the time comes. In the meantime, western fans can look forward to the localization of Tales of Graces F in 2012.
