Atelier Mysterious Trilogy Deluxe Pack launches for PS4, Switch, and Steam on April 22
Koei Tecmo and Gust have revealed Atelier Mysterious Trilogy Deluxe Pack for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. The pack consists of Atelier Sophie DX, Atelier Firis DX, and Atelier Lydie & Suelle DX, which will all be available simultaneously on April 22.
Koei Tecmo's European Twitter account unveiled the Deluxe re-releases at almost the same time as Famitsu's Japanese reveal. The English tweet confirmed that a new episode and costume will be added to Atelier Sophie DX, while the Japanese article hinted that the other two games—Firis DX and Lydie & Suelle DX—will also receive new content while including a lot of DLC released separately from the original games. Just like the previous trilogies, users can either purchase each game individually or get all three games at once with a bundle.
The Deluxe releases for the previous two Atelier trilogies—Arland (Rorona, Totori, Meruru) and Dusk (Ayesha, Escha & Logy, Shallie)—legitimately brought the older titles to Steam and current-gen platforms, as they were previously only available on the PlayStation 3 and Vita. However, barring Switch versions of Atelier Sophie and Firis, the original games in the Mysterious trilogy are already available on the same platforms. It is yet to be known if owners of the original games are able to obtain the new Deluxe content or if Gust will follow Square Enix's Dragon Quest XI S by making it a completely separate release from the original game.
