Atelier Mysterious Trilogy DX new features revealed
Koei Tecmo and Gust have revealed more details on the Atelier Mysterious Trilogy Deluxe Pack after its initial reveal earlier this week. The screenshots showing the new features added to each game are also available in English, which further indicated the worldwide simultaneous launches of these re-releases.
All three games will receive the same universal features like Photo Mode, Digital Artbook, the option to double the battle speed, and the feature to perform Synthesis during battles.
We also have a new English trailer for the announcement.
We have previously learned that Atelier Sophie DX will get an additional costume and story. Both of them will tell a new storyline where Sophie is growing up to live up to the townsfolk's expectations, as her late grandmother used to be the town's dependable alchemist.
Atelier Firis is known for the story Firis and her friends travel outside to discover the mysteries of life. The DX version will add 4 new vehicles and several more items to help her expeditions, which also include a submarine and a bulldozer. It will also add 7 new boss quests, which if fulfilled will let the party fight against an even stronger Palmyra.
Last but definitely not least, Atelier Lydie & Suelle is known for the feature where the twin protagonists can visit other worlds through paintings. Gust decided to add a new painting in DX that connects to the world of Nelke & the Legendary Alchemists, effectively allowing the party to meet Nelke von Lestamm herself in Westwald town. Nelke's world will also have its own storyline and boss battles as the twins help develop Westwald.
Atelier Sophie DX, Atelier Firis DX, and Atelier Lydie & Suelle DX will be available either individually or bundled into a single Atelier Mysterious Trilogy Deluxe Pack for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam on April 22.
