Octopath Traveler Shipments and Digital Sales Exceed 2.5 Million

Square Enix has announced that Octopath Traveler has surpassed more than 2,500,000 copies sold, combining retail shipments and download sales. The game had previously hit the 2,000,000 unit mark in March 2020 and is currently available on Nintendo Switch and Steam.

Square Enix and Nintendo have recently announced Project Triangle Strategy, a tactical RPG the uses a similar 'HD-2D' art-style, set to release for Nintendo Switch in 2022. We recently posted some impressions from the game's early demo.
