The Evil King and the Splendid Hero introduces Konko, Sakasa, and Flora
Nippon Ichi Software has introduced more characters that will appear in The Evil King and the Splendid Hero. These characters will play important roles in the game's story, which is written by the same staff behind The Liar Princess and the Blind Prince.
Although the original article introduced 5 characters in total, only 3 of them are brand-new, which are as follows:
- Konko
A male snow fox who lives in Ice Moon Hill. He has many siblings, and he also cares about his family. He meets Yuu when his family is in a danger. - Sakasa
The easily elated retainer of the King Dragon, but often digs own grave due to the robust mouth. Also excels in juggling knives. Sakasa admired the past King Dragon when he a strong and mighty Demon King. - Flora
The princess of the human kingdom. She is wondering if there is anything she can do to help citizens who are still afraid of the Demon King's resurrection since the latter used to invade the land.
The protagonist Yuu and the King Dragon were introduced in the initial reveal. The player will primarily control Yuu, who can encounter the aforementioned characters as she goes on more adventures in her training to become a proper hero like her late father.
The Evil King and the Splendid Hero will be released for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch on June 24 in Japan. An English localization has yet to be announced as of this writing.
