Lost Soul Aside resurfaces with 18 minutes of gameplay
Yang Bing has posted 17 minutes of gameplay from Lost Soul Aside, an action RPG in development at Chinese studio UltiZero Games.
Lost Soul Aside has had a lengthy development to this point, starting as an animation project in Unreal Engine 4 by a lone developer. The game was officially announced in 2016, with showings at PlayStation Experience 2017 and ChinaJoy 2018. However, word from the project has been silent since.
This new trailer re-reveals the game nearly three years later, highlighting pure fast-paced gameplay, boss battles, and some cinematic sequences.
According to Niko Partners analyst Daniel Ahmad, the footage shows the game running on PlayStation 5 hardware. The development team has also grown to about 30 members since its unveiling.
We don't have any more information on release timings, but it's certainly nice to see the game resurface once again. Lost Soul Aside seems to be primed to make an appearance at PlayStation China Press Conference 2021 on April 29, so perhaps we'll hear more later this week.
