Unexplored 2: The Wayfarer's Legacy, the ambitious procedural action-RPG from developer Ludomotion and publisher Big Sugar, has launched into Early Access on the Epic Games Store. It's priced $24.99, and is available with a 10% launch discount for a limited time. An additional $10 discount can be applied at checkout by using the Epic MEGA Sale Coupon, which is available until 17 June, 2021.
Unexplored 2: The Wayfarer’s Legacy creates a vast, rich fantasy world to discover without grind, XP, or gold, and has a cool twist on permadeath – your character may die, but the world might persist. The main quest objective is consistent for all players, but no two adventures are the same, and the story is all about your choices and their consequences as history unfolds.
Since being announced in 2019, Unexplored 2: The Wayfarer's Legacy has been available to backers as both a pre-alpha and beta. Launching into Early Access will allow Ludomotion to continue expanding, enhancing, and refining the experience as it works towards a full 1.0 release.
"Unexplored 2 is playable from start to finish, but it's not complete. There is still much more to come, which is why Early Access makes sense," explains game director, Joris Dormans.
"Players can expect more content to be added at a regular pace. New items, new enemies, new side quests, new variations on the main quests, and even new game modes will arrive in thematic packages," says Dormans. "The procedural nature of the game makes it easy to slip in all the new content naturally. Every time you are ready to start a new world, there will be new things for you to discover."
