Dragon Quest Treasures announced, starring Erik and Mia from Dragon Quest XI
During today's Dragon Quest 35th anniversary stream event, Square Enix announced Dragon Quest Treasures. The game is described as a treasure hunting RPG, featuring the childhood of siblings Erik and Mia from Dragon Quest XI.
No release date or platforms have been announced for the title, but producer Taichi Inuzuka states that the development is aiming for a worldwide simultaneous launch.

Back in 2018, a new Dragon Quest Monsters title was teased, also starring Erik and Mia, but news about that title has fallen silent since. It looks like the title was repurposed to be a new type of game instead.
In the stream, Dragon Quest boss Yuji Horii stated that Treasures is not a 'Monsters' sub-series game, but a new RPG nonetheless, hinting another Monsters game will probably still happen, eventually.
We'll have to wait for more information on this treasure hunting RPG.
