Rune Factory 5 delayed to 2022; E3 Trailer and Screenshots

During the Future Games Show during E3 2021, XSeed revealed a new trailer for Rune Factory 5. This is the first trailer to showcase the English voice acting for the game, and a release date of Early 2022 was also given. Rune Factory 5 will be the first game in the main Rune Factory series to be in 3D.

Rune Factory 5 was first revealed in a Nintendo Direct in February 2019. Another trailer in September 2020 originally gave the West a 2021 release date. The initial delay in Japan came in early 2020, likely due to COVID. The game release in Japan last month, and will receive DLC costumes based on characters in earlier entries.

Rune Factory 5 will be a Nintendo Switch exclusive.
