Yakuza series spinoff Judgment surpasses 1 million units sold

Sega has announced that Yakuza series spinoff Judgment has surpassed more than 1 million units shipped worldwide. 

In a Tweet posted to the RGG Studio Twitter account, series producer Kazuki Hosokawa shared the following message.

Thanks to the support from all our fans we were able to reach a milestone of one million Judgment units sold. We're now at the peak of the development process for Lost Judgment, and the whole team is hard at work to create a game that lives up to everyone's expectations. I'd be honored if you would look forward to the release on Sept 24, 2021!

Judgment originally released for PlayStation 4 in December 2017 for Japan and June 2019 for the West. A PlayStation 5 / Xbox Series X|S remaster launched earlier this year, and of course, a sequel follow-up Lost Judgment is releasing on September 24 worldwide.
