The Witcher 2 Xbox 360 Release Delayed into 2012

The Xbox 360 version of The Witcher 2 has been delayed past its November 2011 release date.

Now scheduled to launch in Q1 2012 (January-March), CD Projekt RED claims that the delay will "allow [them] to polish the game to perfection," and "despite the release date shift, players will be satisfied with what we are planning for them."

The company also claims that their on-going legal battle with Namco Bandai over distribution rights attributed to the delay.

In the meantime, upcoming DLC will also be shown off for the game at this year's Gamescom, which is just weeks away now.
