NieR Re[in]carnation launches on July 28 in the West; opening cinematic revealed

Square Enix has announced that NieR Re[in]carnation will launch in the West on July 28 for both iOS and Android devices. The Nier mobile entry previously released in Japan in February.

Re[in]carnation stars an unnamed girl in a vast place with empty, tall buildings known as the Cage, guided by a mysterious ghost-like figure known as Mama. The girl has lost her memories and explores this strange place to find them and more.

The game has met its goal of more than 300,000 pre-registrations, meaning all players will begin the game with 3000 gems. Square Enix is upped its preregistration goals, where 600,000 pre-registrations will offer even more gems alongside other materials.
