Level-5 to release Megaton Musashi on November 11 in Japan for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch
Level-5 has announced that mecha action RPG Megaton Musashi will launch for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch on November 11 in Japan. Additionally, a TV anime adaptation will begin on October 1. A portal website has also been opened for the new franchise.
Megaton Musashi was originally announced as a multimedia project back in 2016. The game itself is a co-operative action RPG, where up to three players can take control of characters piloting giant robots while taking on alien monsters known as Dracters. Combat encompasses flashy robot battles, with various sorts of attacks and finishers, including melee punches & slashes, armaments like a gatling gun, shotgun, or multi-target missiles. Cut-in artwork in battle will be also different based on the pilot you chose.
A trailer for both the RPG and TV anime can be found below. A 'Megaton Lab Vol.1' live stream will also take place in late August to provide updates on the projects featuring the actors of main trio of characters.
