Dragon Quest Press Event Incoming

Nearly three years ago, Square-Enix announced that Dragon Quest X would be coming to the Wii. Since then, not a single piece of media, or detail has been shared on the game, other than that it is still in development.

It seems that everything it about to change, however. Square-Enix has announced today that they will be hosting a Dragon Quest press conference on Monday, September 5th. Those at home need not worry, as the event will be streamed live on Ustream at 14:00 Japan time.

This announcement comes ahead of Tokyo Game Show, and the expected release of Dragon Quest 1-3 for Wii, which is said to contain a video preview of Dragon Quest X. Curiously enough, http://www.dqx.jp/ has also been updated with the quote "But the door has been firmly closed!" What could it mean?
