Neptunia X Senran Kagura: Ninja Wars launches on October 26 in North America and October 29 in Europe for PlayStation 4

In a press release this morning, Idea Factory International has announced the release date for Neptunia X Senran Kagura: Ninja Wars - October 26th for North America, and October 29th for Europe. The title's official website has also been updated with new screenshots showing off the four Neptunia goddesses in action. The game will launch on the PS4. IFI also announced a special edition of the game which will come with: the game, collector's box, art book, wall scroll, steel case, soundtrack, and trading card.

This action RPG will feature 10 characters: Neptune, Noire, Blanc, and Vert from the Neptunia series alongside Asuka, Yumi, Homura, and Miyabi from the Senran Kagura series, an original character, Yuuki, and Goh from the PS2 game Shinobido: Way of the Ninja. The game's story will center around the ninja schools of Compa and Honeypa, who are fierce rivals trying to determine which school is better, when mechanical ninjas suddenly invade and declare a war to determine the best ninja school.

Neptunia X Senran Kagura: Ninja Wars was first announced in March for Japan. Tamsoft, the developers of Senran Kagura, have collaborated with Compile Heart and Idea Factory before on the Neptunia series: Hyperdimension Neptunia U: Action Unleashed, and MegaTagmension Blanc + Neptune vs Zombies. The Neptunia series has made references to the Senran Kagura series before, primarily through the character MarvelousAQL who borrows a lot of traits from Asuka.
