Monark gets a new story-centric trailer

A new trailer has been released today for Monark, an intriguing game that's clearly taken inspiration from classic Shin Megami Tensei titles. And rightly so, given that so much SMT talent is aboard at Monark's development studio, Lancarse.

In Monark, an eerie Mist has engulfed Shin Mikado Academy and the protagonist must develop their Ego in the creepy realm called Otherworld in order to strengthen their ties with Fiends. The below trailer highlights several key members of Monark's cast whilst providing some (broad) glimpses of the game's overarching narrative.

Monark launches in Japan and Asia on October 14. Western audiences will need to wait a bit longer until sometime in early 2022. The game will be available for purchase on PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
