Sega's new mobile RPG is Sin Chronicle, coming to Japan on December 15
Sega has revealed their major mobile RPG at Tokyo Game Show 2021, after having previously teased its announcement. The new mobile game is titled Sin Chronicle, and it is being made by the same team behind Chain Chronicle.
As informed in the teaser trailer, Sin Chronicle will have an irreversible non-linear story. Dialogue selections in the storyline will actually determine which character survives and which one dies. And the progress will be permanently recorded on the player's account. The mobile game will also have explorable fields with turn-based battles.
Sega also revealed lists of composers and voice actors participating in this game. The main composer of Sin Chronicle will be Kevin Penkin of Made in Abyss fame. Kenji Ito, Masashi Hamauzu, Yoko Shimomura, Masato Kouda, Yasunori Mitsuda, and Yuzo Koshiro will also contribute to the title as guest composers.
Sin Chronicle will have a male protagonist voiced by Taito Ban. It will also feature two heroines: Sera and Chloe (both voiced by Aoi Yuuki). More characters shown on the official website are the animal Mythos (VA: Shiori Izawa), the former gladiator Lion (VA: Junichi Suwabe), and the gunner Biscuit (VA: Mariya Ise).
Other voice actors who are confirmed in the project but without a known character yet are Ai Orikasa, Ai Kayano, Ryohei Kimura, Honoka Kuroki, Kotori Koiwai, Tomokazu Sugita, Yuichi Nakamura, Kana Hanazawa, Yoshitsugu Matsuoka, and Hikaru Midorikawa.
