Medieval third-person action RPG Arise of Awakener announced for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC, set to release in 2023
Publisher Gamera Game and developer Taner Game have announced Arise of Awakener, a 'medieval third-person action game' set to release for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC in 2023.
Details of the game are sparse at the moment, but according to the Gamera Game's YouTube description, three different playable characters are available - Warrior, Archer, or Mage. IGN's description of the game states that "players will ride dragons, command airships, and partake in engaging combat encounters against a collection of fantastical creatures as they take on the role of an adventurer and embark on a path of revenge and redemption. All with the goal of becoming the 'Awakened One'."
An announcement teaser trailer and screenshots can be found below, which highlights quite a bit of combat gameplay, riding dragons, and more. It looks something similar to Capcom's Dragon's Dogma, though we'll have to wait for more information in the coming years.
