Dontnod's 2018 action RPG Vampyr gets a next-gen performance patch for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series
Focus Interactive and Dontnod Entertainment have announced that 2018 action RPG Vampyr has received a performance patch for next-generation consoles.
Both PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X consoles can now play the game at 1440p resolution at 60 frames-per-second. The Xbox Series S console maintains that 1440p resolution, but can only offer 30 FPS. While the patch has been announced to be live now, there are some reports from players stating that the update is not yet available on their systems, but hopefully it should become available over the course of the day.
Vampyr is an action RPG set in early 20th century London where you play as a doctor-turned-vampire attempting to maintain his humanity as you investigate a mysterious plague. Kyle Campbell reviewed the game at launch, though he felt Vampyr didn't live up to its ambitions.
